I encourage all women to experience the joy of belly dance. Belly dance is a wonderful form of exercise and it celebrates a woman's natural form and curves. It is for women of all size and all shape. I studied ballet from childhood to adolescence, and for a few years as an adult. Although I enjoyed ballet very much, it was liberating to take belly dance and be able to move my hips!
